Abiodun Folawiyo is a the CEO of Shoespeed Interglobal Services, makers of high quality hand made shoes in Lagos, Nigeria.

Abiodun walks us through his experience running his shoe business which he started over 16 years ago.We talk about the changing business landscapes and the correlations that smart entrepreneurs can draw from industries different from their own. Abiodun also shares with us the other types of capital available to entrepreneurs that are often overlooked.

We also discussed the roles of the right partnerships that can set business in motion and in the right direction, keeping operations lean, and the dangers of “arriving too soon”, and practical steps to preventing self destructing the business due to wrong practices.
